Ulchapara Mosque

An old mosque is located in Ulchapara village under sadar upazila of Brahmanbaria district. The mosque has been constructed rectangular on a high base platform. According to an inscription of the mosque, this mosque was built in 1730-1731.Mohammed Murad, a devout man, built this. It is a 3-domed rectangular structure building. It is about 52 feet in length and about 22 feet in width.The thickness of the wall is about 4 feet. Inside the mosque there are three mihrabs on the western wall. There are three entrances to the east to enter. There is also entrance to the north-south side. You can see 4 towers in the 4 corners of the mosque.
